
Hauppauge residents approved the school district’s $105.39 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1,458-442.
The budget represents a 0.91 percent spending increase over the current year and it includes a 0.21 percent hike in the school tax levy, within the district’s state tax cap.
Michael Buscarino and Stacey Weisberg were elected to the school board.
