Man Exposed Himself To Woman In Hicksville Before Masturbation Incident: Police
The victim came forward a week after the man was arrested for masturbating in a Babies "R" Us parking lot, police say.
The Long Island man who masturbated in a Babies "R" Us parking lot last week was arrested again on Saturday after a woman told police she recognized him as the man who exposed himself to her in Hicksville last month, police say.
According to authorities, a 24-year-old woman was sitting in her car in the Target parking lot, located at the Broadway Mall, when Fredys Santamaria, 39, of Westbury, pulled his dark-colored Acura up next to her and exposed himself on Thursday, Feb. 23. He then fled the scene in his vehicle, police say.
The woman was able to recognize Santamaria after seeing his face in the news and notified police on Friday. Santamaria was arrested at his home on Saturday and was charged with public lewdness. He was arraigned Sunday.
