Masked Gunman Robs Target On New Year's Eve
A 22-year-old female employee was approached from behind by the robber as she prepared to open the store, Nassau Police say.

WESTBURY, NY – Nassau Police are searching for a man who robbed a Target at gunpoint Sunday morning. It happened at the store located at 999 Corporate Dr. in Westbury at about 7:25 a.m.
According to police, a 22-year-old female employee was preparing to open the store when she was approached from behind by an unknown man displaying a handgun.
The man ordered the woman and a second female employee, 70, to the floor in an office, police said.

The man took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store through an emergency exit on the east side of the building. He entered a dark colored vehicle and fled the scene. Police released the surveillance photo above of the car the robber fled in.
No injuries were reported.

The robber was described as white, 5-foot-8 and 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, black gloves, tan pants, black jacket and black sneakers with white soles.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
