Pizza Delivery Man Escapes Masked Robbers in Carle Place

This incident comes after a pizza delivery man was attacked and robbed in a nearby town last week.

Two men tried to rob a pizza delivery man Wednesday morning in Carle Place but he was able to get away, police say.

According to authorities, the 52-year-old man went to make a delivery for Domino’s Pizza to a Clearland Avenue home when he was approached by two masked men while still inside the car at 1:20 a.m.

One of the masked men opened the door and demanded pizza, but the delivery man was able to pulled the door closed as he drove away. Police say his rear window was then shattered from an unknown object.
The delivery man returned to the store, located at 103 Westbury Ave., and notified 911.
