  1. Pet dies in Greenlawn house fire. A fire broke out at a Jamaica Avenue home in Greenlawn on Thursday evening. No people were injured, but a pet died in the fire, according to the Greenlawn Fire Department. Neighboring departments Huntington Manor, East Northport, Centerport, and Commack VAC joined the call, with Huntington FD and CVAC standing by its headquarters. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Huntington voter guide: Election 2021. Election Day is Tuesday, and with all the signs you see throughout town and what you have heard about the candidates, it may be confusing who is running for what.
