Artist Linda Louis Exhibits at Book Revue

The work of artist Linda Louis is now on exhibit at the Book Revue in Huntington Village.
Her work “Jewels in Sunlight” features 19 8-inch-by-10-inch wax and pigment miniatures.
The title comes from the translucent, jewel-like colors of the work and the way light is deflected through the medium off the white of the archival paper.

Louis’ art varies from wall-sized oil paintings on canvas to the miniatures
that often inspire her larger works.

The artist has degrees in art from Adelphi University and Parsons. Louis’ work hangs in private and public collections. She has been represented by a number of New York galleries. Louis is a member of the Board of Directors of the Huntington Arts Council and is a teacher and curator.
