Blaze Engulfs Huntington Station Garage
The fire broke out Friday morning, fire officials say.

About forty firefighters responded to a blaze that broke out inside a detached garage at a Huntington Station residence Friday morning.
According to fire officials, the garage at the Fourth Avenue home became fully engulfed in the blaze at around 8:30 a.m. The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to the scene and was able to keep the blaze from spreading to an adjacent garage.
The firefighters used five trucks to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. All fire operations were under the direction of first assistant chief Mike DePasquale and third assistant chief Chuck Brady.

The Huntington Fire Department also assisted at the scene with a Rapid Intervention Team and the Huntington Community Ambulance for EMS.
The Huntington Town Fire Marshal and Suffolk Police Arson Squad are investigating the blaze.
