Brush Painting Traditions from Asia - Teacher Workshop

The Huntington Arts Council Inc. presents its annual Cultural Arts Workshops for Teachers 2012.

Established artist and college instructor Sung-Sook Setton has studied under Korean and Chinese masters prior to her three-decade long practice of water-ink painting. Her presentation is based on the wonders of her native Korean culture with a comprehensive introduction to technique of Asian brush painting. She shares the intricacies of her art and a look at her personal sketch books. She will provide expert guidance and materials for a hands-on experience of brush painting.

The workshops are free to teachers in Journey school district partners: Commack, Harborfields, Huntington, North Babylon, Northport/East Northport, Plainview/Old Bethpage and South Huntington school districts.
