Huntington Lighthouse Tours

This summer's Huntington Lighthouse tour dates are set. Every other Sunday, the Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society ferries visitors to the lighthouse in the harbor.

Weather permitting, dates are June 12, July 10, July 24, Aug. 7, Aug. 21, Sept. 18, and Sept. 25.

Tours run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and leave from Gold Star Battalion Beach.

Tours are done on a first come, first served basis. Please make reservations for groups of 10 or more.

The boat trip takes about 15 minutes each way and it runs continuously. The tour lasts about an hour.

A Boston whaler takes visitors to and from the lighthouse. Children under 13 must wear lifejackets. Only flat, rubber-soled shoes are permitted, such as sneakers or dock shoes. There are no exceptions.

Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for children under 12 and over 5 years of age. It costs $20 for a family of 4. All proceeds go to the ongoing preservation and restoration of the lighthouse.
