  1. Four people accused of selling vapes or e -cigarettes to minors in Huntington were arrested on Monday. In total, 12 businesses were checked to see if they were complying with the law. You can see what four businesses sold to minors in the link. (Huntington Patch)

  3. A new TJ Maxx has opened in Woodbury. The store had its grand opening at the Woodbury Plaza shopping center on Oct. 30. The 24,000-square-foot store is located at 401 South Oyster Bay Road and replaced Bed, Bath & Beyond. (Daily Voice)
  4. Residents are fuming over the town's decision to add meters to current free parking in Huntington Village. Town of Huntington residents flocked to the Town Board meeting last week to display their opposition to the new meters. The added meters proposed by Town Supervisor Ed Smyth would be to lots at New/Green Street, lower Elm Street, Gerard Street, Clinton Street, East Carver Street, Cold Spring Harbor Village and Woodbine Marina in Northport.
