- Harborfields celebrates homecoming. This past weekend, Harborfields celebrated their homecoming after COVID-19 safety measures put 2021 homecoming on hold. It was a sign of normalcy for many, with firetrucks, the marching band, and dance performances. Harborfields fell to Deer Park, 26-12. (Huntington Patch)
- ICYMI: TikTok threat leads to extra police patrols. A threat made on TikTok last week to Huntington High School and J. Taylor Finley Middle School prompted police response Monday. Police patrols at Huntington schools were necessary in an abundance of caution as school districts around the country have been warning about a series of TikTok challenges that began with the “devious lick” involving theft of items such as bathroom soap dishes. The person of interest was identified and "appropriate action was taken," police said. (Huntington Now)
- Priciest home sales in Melville. Long Island Businesses News has been doing a piece on the priciest homes in our area, and these Melville homes have been listed as the highest priced. The three highest-priced home sales in Melville last month ranged from $1.199 million to $1.2 million, so be sure to take a look. (Long Island Business News)
