Harborfields, CSH Elementary Schools Rank Among State's Best

One elementary school in the Harborfields School District and two in the Cold Spring Harbor School District were ranked among the top 100 public elementary schools in New York, which were based on 2017 rankings from Niche.com.

Here's how they placed:

Harborfields Central School District

• Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School— No. 81

Cold Spring Harbor School District

• West Side School— No. 86
• Lloyd Harbor School— No. 90

Overall, 50 Long Island elementary schools made New York's top 100 list by Niche.com. See the list here.

Lakeville Elementary School in Great Neck was named the highest ranked school in Nassau County and New York State.

The rankings accessed 48,625 public elementary schools and analyzed them based on academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and parents on Niche.com.
