A few businesses in the community have partnered with the The Townwide Fund of Huntington to set up Coin Boxes.

Each participating establishment will have a Coin Box set up inside the store. Customers can drop in dollars and coins into the box to allow the Townwide Fund to provide more grants to local agencies.

“So whether you are grabbing a slice and a soda at DiRaimos Pizza on Wall Street or stopping by the 7-11 on East Main Street for a hot coffee and a lottery ticket, please say thank you to the person behind the counter for serving as a Coin Box Sponsor,” said a Townwide Fund of Huntington press release.

“We encourage our friends and neighbors to patronize the stores who support the Townwide Fund,” said Jim Powers, Townwide Fund president. “It truly takes a village to support a community, and every little bit adds up to make a big difference.”
