
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men in connection with a counterfeit currency investigation.
Police say a man entered Fulton’s Gate Pub, located at 124 East Main St. in Patchogue, on April 20 at 11 p.m. and made a purchase using a counterfeit $100 bill. Prior to entering the bar, the suspect and another man were seen getting out of a gray or silver 2004 Acura MDX bearing a gold New York State license plate.
The man who passed the money was wearing a baseball cap. He is described as black and 5-foot-8. The other man is described as black, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet with facial hair and dreadlocks.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
