- 5 Huntington area open Houses to scope out. The real estate market is still very hot, and homes are slim picking, but we have compiled a list of 5 Huntington area open houses for you to check out. - Art League plans exhibition of members' works. The Art League of Long Island is planning its 65th annual members exhibition starting in February and is inviting members to participate. Artists from all walks of like and genres of art will be showcasing their talents. The exhibit will be shown in two parts. Part One (artist last names A-L) exhibits Feb. 19-March 11 and Part Two (artist last names M-Z) exhibits March 19-April 8. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
- Huntington seeks grant funding for Asharoken Seawall project. The Town of Huntington is looking for FEMA grant funding for the Asharoken Seawall Resiliency Upgrade Project. - Huntington Union Free School District: The Blue Devils are developing an intramural flag football program for girls at both the high school and Finley. The idea is that if there is enough interest, Huntington will enter a team into next year’s Section XI flag football league. (Facebook)
- The Junior Welfare League of Huntington, Inc.: The Welfare League thanks all its supporters this holiday season. Together they supported over 650 local children and their families with holiday gifts & care packages this year.
