  1. Local weather for the weekend brings rain, wind, and snow. As we look to the weekend forecast, another wild weather pattern is in store for us. Friday will be a nice day with a high near 50, but Saturday morning brings a storm that packs rain and snow, and temperatures are supposed to drop in the afternoon when winds will pick up. Sunday will be cold and windy with temperatures only reaching a high of 37 degrees. Plan accordingly! (Huntington Patch)
  2. Spotlight Art Bar @ The Paramount to mark official opening March 18. Spotlight Art Bar in Huntington Village is a live music lovers dream. The intimate venue has a capacity of 200 and has live acts with great food and drinks. "In addition to showcasing and hosting local and nationally-renowned artists, the space will display various exhibits for the public... stimulating innovation and creativity among residents,” according to the press release."   3. Man wanted for stealing $2,000 worth of clothing from Huntington Station Macy's. Suffolk County Crimestoppers is looking for help in identifying a man who stole over $2,000 worth of clothes from Macy's on Feb 24. In the video camera footage, the man was wearing a black hooded jacket and had dark jeans on. He is wanted for grand larceny. Call 1-800-221-TIPS with any information. (Huntington Patch)

  • Huntington Union Free School District: Spring Drivers Ed Program has been announced. "Students who have reached the age of 16 by April 4 and who hold a valid learner’s permit by the registration date are eligible for the program. The course will run from April 5 through June 1." (Facebook)
  • Huntington Library: Important announcement regarding the Ukraine Supply Drive. The drive is ending on March 12 and the library has posted a list in the link of items most needed. (Facebook)
