Here are the top 3 stories today in Huntington:

  1. Chick-Fil-A is finally coming to Huntington this year. After what seems to be years in the making, the Huntington Town Board voted for provisional approval, allowing for a 2022 opening for Chick-Fil-A. Many residents had long opposed the plans, as the parking lot of 124 E. Jericho Turnpike already creates massive traffic with Target in the shopping center. The plan was approved with drive-thru restrictions, and work can begin after building permits are approved. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Check out local arrests in Huntington from Feb. 13-20. "Tina Robinson, 50, of Huntington Station, worked with others to steal $7,000 worth of items from Home Depot at 785 New York Ave., Huntington Station, on Dec. 7, 2021, and Feb. 5, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on Feb. 17." You can see other arrests in the police blotter. (Huntington Patch)
