  3. New York State officially ends COVID-19 school quarantine rules. Students will no longer have to quarantine if they are exposed to COVID-19 in their classroom, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul. “We are looking forward to a year characterized by a greater sense of normalcy, but also know that we have built considerable capacity over the past several years to adapt in the face of external disruptions,” Huntington Superintendent James Polansky said.
