Here are the top 3 stories today in Huntington:

  1. Town of Oyster Bay holding a pet food and supply drive starting March 15. The drive will take place from March 15 to April 15 and is in partnership with Long Island Cares. "Pets truly are members of our family," said Councilwoman Laura Maier. "Pet food and supply donations will help furry friends in need, which in turn keeps pets at home with their loved ones. The Town of Oyster Bay is proud to partner with LI Cares to collect generous donations for this worthwhile cause." (Patch)
  2. Check the latest pets available for adoption. As we head into spring and nicer weather, what better way to get out and get some exercise by adopting one of these beautiful animals. Our weekly addition shows you all pets available for adoption at local shelters. You can click on the pet's name in the link for more information on adoption. (Huntington Patch)
