1. Town of Huntington moves flags to half-staff Monday to honor those who passed in the Buffalo mass shooting. Ten people were killed when a gunman opened fire at Tops Market in Buffalo on Saturday. "The Town of Huntington stands with the families of the victims and the Buffalo community as they mourn the tragic, unnecessary loss of innocent life in Saturday's hate-driven shooting," Supervisor Ed Smyth said. "Evil exists in this world; we must stand united against it and not focus on what divides us. God bless the victims, their families and the Buffalo community." (Huntington Patch)
2. Roadwork will close Northern State exit 37A for LIE on Tuesday night. The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. and will open back up as normal after the highway maintenance. (Patch)
