- Huntington Manor Fire Captain hailed a hero after rescuing 3 from house fire. The fire occurred back on July 4, and you can read the full story in the link. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
- One killed after car struck by LIRR train in Huntington Station Saturday. Service was suspended between Hicksville and Huntington for about three hours Saturday after an unauthorized car was struck on the tracks at 6:40 a.m. The person was killed and has not been identified yet. (Huntington Patch)
- SLA inspections lead to 43 violations to Huntington-area businesses. The checks came Thursday night and included three businesses: Finley's of Greene St., The Rust and Gold, and Instant Replay. An unlicensed security guard was arrested at Finley's and a total of 43 violations were given out to the three businesses. (Huntington Patch)
