- A third prize Powerball ticket was sold in Huntington Station. The $50,000 winning ticket was sold at Pidgeon Hill Wine & Spirits on East Jericho Turnpike on Monday. (Huntington Patch)
- Police are looking for a trio who stole $6,700 worth of clothes from Dick's Sporting Goods in Melville. The men stole all Nike clothing on June 8, around 10:55 a.m. The trio are wanted for grand larceny and police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Patch)
