  1. Two arrested for selling e-liquid nicotine to minors in second precinct crackdown. After numerous complaints of stores selling nicotine to minors, the second precinct did an investigation in which 10 businesses were checked for selling to minors. Two people were arrested during the investigation, one from Smokeez Smoke Shop and the other from Bazaar Smoke Shop. (Huntington Patch)

  3. Walt Whitman teacher awarded $135,000 STEM grant. Frederick Feraco was one of 95 educators across the nation to receive the grant, which is given to advance research in science, math, engineering, and technology. "We are delighted to award these teachers with STEM kits and resources to further their student's pursuit of inquiry-based learning," said Michele Glidden, chief program officer at the Society for Science.   4. Woman robbed in Greenlawn Planet Fitness parking lot. A woman was robbed for her iPhone in the Planet Fitness parking lot on Feb. 23 at 9:45 a.m. She was in her car as the subject approached her and demanded her phone, after she complied, he ran off.   • Huntington Union Free School District: Registration is now open for the Music & Art Summer Enrichment Program. The collaboration between Huntington UFSD and SCOPE Education Services offers a music and arts summer enrichment program, which runs from Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 22. (Facebook)
