Huntington Police Blotter: $11K Watch Swiped From Gym Locker Room
ALSO: Two men stole more than 90 bottles of perfume valued at roughly $9,000, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from March 20 through March 26.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- March 24: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 8:28 p.m. Two men stole more than 90 perfume bottles from Ulta Beauty valued at more than $9,000, police said.
- March 23: Robbery (second-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 6:43 p.m. Two people stole $700 in clothing from Foot Locker, police said.
- March 23: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Hunters Lane in Huntington Station from March 22 at 8 p.m. Someone called a man and pretended to be from Apple Customer Service and told the man to move money from his credit card accounts into a coin-based account, police said.
- March 22: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station from March 21 at 5 p.m. Someone stole a watch worth roughly $11,000and cash from the men's locker room of LA Fitness, police said.
- March 21: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Watch Way in Lloyd Harbor from March 19 at noon. Someone stole a dump truck from Watch Way LLC, police said.
- March 20: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Madison Street in Huntington from March 19 at 10:30 p.m. Someone stole a 2019 Jeep Cherokee after the keyfob was left in the vehicle, police said.
- March 20: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on West 22nd Street in Huntington from March 19 at 4:45 a.m. A 2018 Honda Civic was stolen after it was left running in the driveway, police said.
