Huntington Police Blotter: 3 Cars Broken Into, Money Stolen
ALSO: Three guitars were swiped from a South Huntington music store, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Feb. 27 through March 5.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- March 3: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 2 p.m. A wallet was stolen from a 2020 Subaru parked outside of Ulta Beauty, police said.
- March 2: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Beverly Road in Huntington Station from March 1 at 7 p.m. Cash was stolen from a 2003 Cadillac parked at a home, police said.
- March 2: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Bertlee Drive in Huntington Station at 2 a.m. Someone went through a vehicle parked by a house and stole sunglasses, money, and a wallet, police said.
- March 2: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington from Feb. 17 at 8 a.m. Someone accessed Fratco Construction Corp.'s account with TD bank and made transfers, police said.
- March 2: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station at 2:24 p.m. Someone stole a men's jacket from Sno-Haus of Huntington, police said.
- March 1: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 5 p.m. Two men stole more than $2,700 worth of fragrances from Ulta Beauty, police said.
- Feb. 28: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Old Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington from Feb. 27 at 4:30 p.m. Someone stole three guitars from Sam Ash Music, police said.
