Officer Driving Suspect Gets Into Crash: SCPD
The crash happened late Sunday night, police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A Suffolk County police officer was involved in a car crash Sunday night in Huntington Station while he was driving a man who was arrested to the Second Precinct.
The officer was driving his patrol car southbound on Lenox Road near 17th Street around 11:20 p.m. with the suspect when he crashed into a 2012 BMW being driven southbound on Lenox Road, police said. The BMW driver and suspect were brought to Huntington Hospital for evaluation and released.
