Police Log: Woman Arrested for Burglary, Lottery Tickets Stolen From Store
Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.
Friday, Jan. 1
At 10 p.m., police reported grand larceny in which someone stole lottery tickets from 7-Eleven on E. Main Street in Huntington.

At 5:07 p.m., a 60-year-old Nesconset woman was charged with burglary after police said she stole merchandise from Saks Fifth Avenue in the Walt Whitman Mall. The woman had previously signed an affidavit acknowledging she did not have permission to enter the store.
