'Stop Making Sense' at Cinema Arts Wednesday
30th anniversary screening co-presented by SPARKBOOM, featuring an after-party with local bands.
Liven up your Wednesday this week with a screening of “Stop Making Sense,” considered by many as one of the best concert films ever, followed by an after party – all at Huntington’s Cinema Arts Centre.
“Stop Making Sense” documents the groundbreaking Talking Heads at their peak and was directed by Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia). The thirtieth anniversary screening, co-presented by SparkBoom, starts at 7:30pm, with an after-party show featuring Say No! to Architecture and Jimmy Doyle & The Engineers in the Movies That Rock monthly series.
