The Many Sounds of Music at Fall Festival

Lineup offers acts from 1950s favorites to teen singers throughout the weekend.

If music matters more than carnival rides or facepainting, then the eclectic lineup at this weekend's Long Island Fall Festival should keep you entertained.

A battle of the bands gets underway at 6:45 p.m. Friday, 15 minutes after the festival's opening ceremonies.

And a performance Sunday will honor the memory of Phil Antonucci, a musician and award-winning sound mixer who was deeply involved in musical events at Huntington High School, who died in August.
