Thieves Enter Through Roof to Burglarize Huntington Station Store

A store in Huntington Station was burglarized early Sunday morning.

According to police, thieves came through the roof of Cookie Wookie at 2:36 a.m.

Cookie Wookie is located in the Walt Whitman Shops on Walt Whitman Road.

Money, lottery tickets and cigarettes were stolen from the store, police said.

Cookie Wookie is a bakery and deli that offers baked goods, desserts, breakfast and daily lunch specials, according to Walt Whitman Shops.
