Come enjoy a screening of the documentary Fiddler on the Moon: Judaism in Space—with&nbsp;astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, astronauts Jeffrey Hoffman and Jessica Meir, and a quorum of rabbis and researchers—which explores how Jewish traditions could be practiced in space. Guest speakers from <a href="https://westchesterastronomers.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Westchester Amateur Astronomers</a> (WAA) will hold a discussion after the screening.
A light lunch will be served.

WAA is a not-for-profit organization open to people of all ages with the desire to learn more about astronomy and who share an interest in viewing the universe. We range from enthusiastic amateurs and educators to casual stargazers and families.
WAA was founded by three friends who wanted to help the general public see Halley’s Comet during its 1986 fly-by. They went on to found Westchester Amateur Astronomers in 1991. Activities include monthly presentations by respected names in astronomy and related sciences and observing nights beneath Westchester’s darkest skies.

Opened in 1996 under the advice and direction of Rabbi Steven Ziskind, a mentor and friend of Vincent Graziano, Zion was predicated on the belief that the Jewish community deserved better and more options when it came to burying their loved ones.
