Over the weekend the best wrestlers from across the Hudson Valley will compete in the sectional tournament.
The schools have been split up into two divisions and Mamaroneck will be competing in Division 1.

Mamaroneck will have several wrestlers competing over the weekend. Max Valera (113) is seeded 16th, Luke Pavicic (145) is seeded 16th, Ben Miller (152) is seeded second, and Dion Duran (160) is seeded fourth.
With a record of 34-3, Miller comes into the tournament with a very impressive resume and he will be squared up against New Rochelle Freshman Demetrius Rodrigues in the first round. Rodrigues ended the year at 9-19.

The Tigers also like their odds with Duran at 160. At 30-5 the Mamaroneck Junior will take on Arlington Sophomore Michael Peterson. Peterson is 13-7 on the year.

Sport: Boys Basketball
Game: Rye Neck vs. Keio
Score: Rye Neck Won 72-54
Highlights: Rye Neck’s Matt Franks led the way with 18 points and eight rebounds as Brendan Crowley picked up 17 in the win.
Sport: Girls Basketball
Game: Rye Neck vs. Keio
Score: Rye Neck Won 34-20
Highlights: Rye Neck’s Paige O’Donnell scored 12 points and Kirstin Tamuuci picked up eight in the win. Keio’s Sae Toymura had nine in the loss.
Today’s Schedule:
In ice hockey, Horace Greeley will host Rye Town/Harrison at Brewster Ice Rink at 3:30 p.m.
In boys basketball, Mamaroneck heads to Scarsdale at 4:15 p.m.
In girls basketball, Mamaroneck will host Scarsdale at 4:15 p.m.
