With the majority of the fall seasons over for local teams high school students are beginning to prepare for winter sports. One of the sports that is still going strong is girl’s swimming which held their preliminaries last night at Felix Festa Middle School.

The Section 1 championship finals will be held on Wednesday at Felix Festa.

Mamaroneck field hockey team is still competing in regional’s but there are no games this afternoon. They will be taking on Kingston at noon on Saturday at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome.

Highlights: Mamaroneck’s Nicole Parry finished ninth in the 50 Freestyle, and Tanita Leary came in eighth for the 100 Butterfly.
