While the trick or treaters were out in full force last night the section and local high schools were busy trying to figure out a way to get all the playoff games in.

With several schools around the Hudson Valley still without power from the weekend’s storm it is presenting a challenge for athletic teams everywhere to find places to practice and play.

Below is the tentative schedule for today’s events but please check with the Mamaroneck and Rye Neck school districts before heading out to any of the games as the section and schools have already pushed several contests back.

In field hockey, (7) Croton Harmon @ (2) Rye Neck at 3 p.m.

In volleyball, (9) Croton Harmon @ (1) Rye Neck at 4:30 p.m.

In girl’s soccer, (10) Ossining @ (7) Mamaroneck.

In boy’s soccer, (6) Mamaroneck @ (3) John Jay (EF) at 3 p.m.

In field hockey, (9) Fox Lane @ (1) Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m.
