The All-Section team for cross country was recently announced. Rye Neck’s Natalie Tanner made the girl’s squad.

Iona Prep defensive back Justin Combs recently committed to play football at UCLA. Combs stole spotlight from his famous father, rap mogul Sean “P-Diddy” Combs when he made the announcement. The Bruins will play in the Pac-12 championship game this Friday, just days after firing head coach Rich Neuheisel.

The Professional Squash Tour will return to Westchester County for the Pro Squash Cup hosted by the Westchester Squash Club in Mamaroneck. The event will be held from Dec. 1-4. For tickets and additional information please visit www.ProSquashTour.net or www.westchestersquash.com. 

The Harlem Wizards will take on the Port Chester Middle School Faculty in a basketball game this Thursday. The game will be held in the middle school’s gymnasium and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be $15 at the door.

The New York State Racing and Wagering Board has of thoroughbred and harness racing in the state for 2012. This clears the way for Yonkers Raceway to continue live streaming video as well a race replays.
