Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Help In International Coastal Cleanup
The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions is part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest service organization.

LARCHMONT, NY — Members of the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions along with community volunteers participated Saturday, Sept. 15 in the International Coastal Cleanup Day at Hommocks Conservation Area.
More than 100 pounds of garbage was collected and 10 bags of recyclable material.
The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions is part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization. LCI is led by its first women president, Gudrun Bjort Yngvadottir from Iceland. She has established the following 5 causes for the Lions to support this year: vision, hunger, environment, diabetes and childhood cancer. The Lions are also signatories to the United Nations 50/50 by 30 women’s rights campaign and are committee members of the UN’s Refugee crisis team.
