Mamaroneck's two-time defending state championship baseball team split its games this week. First, it beat Lincoln, 8-3. In the win, Scott Hagan and Max Holiber each had two hits and an RBI. Sam Gruppo and Jordan Zelin each drove in runs. The Tigers then lost to rival Scarsdale, 7-5. In the loss, Jacob London and Matt Mezansky each drove in two runs.
Softball

The Tigers' week started well with a 6-2 win over Nyack. Danielle Deandrea and Julie Klaber each drove in two runs in the victory. Sammy Gitlin allowed just one earned run in a complete game. But Mamaroneck dropped its next game, 13-1, to Scarsdale. Jillian Richards had the Tigers' lone RBI.
Boys lacrosse
Mamaroneck's lacrosse team had a sensational week, winning all three games. First, Mamaroneck beat Scarsdale 5-4. Alex Liebert had a goal and four assists. Josh Trachtenberg and Peter Conley each had two goals.
Mamaroneck followed that win up with a 14-5 win over Eastchester. Conley, a freshman, had six goals in the victory. To conclude the week, Mamaroneck beat White Plains 9-5. Liebert had four goals and one assist in the win.
Girls lacrosse
The Tigers dropped their only game of the week, losing to Bronxville 20-15. Lauren Rush had four goals and one assist. Abby Baigelman added three goals and two assists, and Jessica Gardiner had three goals.
RYE NECK
Baseball
The Panthers dropped two of their three games this week. To open the week, Rye Neck lost to Blind Brook 4-1. Jeff Colangelo had an RBI for Rye Neck.
Rye Neck won its next game, beating Valhalla 4-3 in eight innings. The Panthers scored two in the bottom of the eight for the victory. Starter Ryan Pennell didn't allow an earned run over six innings. Colangelo had two RBIs.
Rye Neck then faced Blind Brook again, and lost 5-4. Rye Neck trailed 4-0 after the first inning, and 5-0 after four. Two runs in the sixth and seventh inning, however, were not enough to make up the deficit. Just Franks had an RBI in the loss.
Softball
Rye Neck split its games this week. First, the Panthers beat Westlake 9-2. Jessica Calvini and Nicole Pineda each drove in three runs. Rye Neck lost its next game, 4-3, to Valhalla. Marissa Bella and Pineda each had RBIs.
