Westchester Polling Info + LWV Candidate Forums Now Streaming
The best opportunity to get to know the candidates for national office is a click away as early voting continues and Election Day nears.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The League of Women Voters is reminding voters that it's still not too late for early voting.
The longstanding group dedicated to civic engagement is also offering one of the best chances for voters to get to know the candidates vying for national office.
The League of Women Voters (LWV) held three live virtual forums with primary candidates in Congressional Districts 16 and 17. Even if you missed the live events, you can still stream the forums online.

The League of Women Voters of Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess Counties hosted the virtual candidate forums via Zoom for U.S. Congressional District 16 Democrats on July 25; U.S. Congressional District 17 Republicans on July 28, and U.S. Congressional District 17 Democrats on August 1. The U.S. Congressional District 16 Republican primary is uncontested.

According to the LWV, while there's still time to early vote, some key deadlines are fast approaching:
- August 22 is the last day for an applicant or agent to apply in person at the Board of Elections for the August Primary Election absentee ballot.
- August 23 is the last day to postmark the Primary Election absentee ballot by mail. The ballot must be received by the Board of Elections no later than August 30.
- August 23 is the last day to deliver the Primary Election absentee ballot in person to the Board of Elections or at any poll site throughout the county, by the close of the polls on election day.
