Division JV Baseball team improves record to 5-0

Division JV team's offense was too much for Jericho in 21-2 Win.

Division jumped out to an early lead on Jericho and captured a 21-2 victory on Wednesday at Jericho.

The game was decided quickly as Division exerted its will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.
A sacrifice fly by Anthony Papa and an error during the first inning and an error, a two-run single by Tyler Epple, an RBI single by Papa, a wild pitch, a bases loaded walk by Joe Tracy, and in the second inning fueled Division's offense early.

Papa racked up four RBIs on two hits for Division.

Jericho couldn't get anything going as long as Adam Herbert was on the mound. Herbert held Jericho hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Joe Tracy got the win for Division. He allowed two runs over five innings. The Division pitcher struck out six, walked five and surrendered two hits.

Division easily handled Jericho pitching as seven hitters combined for 13 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Division piled on three more runs in the top of the third. Papa started the inning with a double, plating Jesse Natale. That was followed up by Sean Cunningham's single, scoring Zach Kuller.

Division built upon its lead with seven runs in the fifth. A clutch bases loaded walk scored Dan Hauschild to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by an error that scored Tracy.

Division increased its lead with two runs in the seventh. Natale kicked things off with a single, bringing home Cunningham. That was followed up by Herbert's single, plating Aaron Gerner.
