Division JV outslugs Plainedge in high-scoring affair, 16-9
The bats were busy at Plainedge on Wednesday, and when the dust cleared Division JV had a 16-9 win over Plainedge in seven innings improving their record to 7-1.
There were 29 hits, including four extra base hits in the game. Austin LaRocca lead divisions attack with 4 hits on the day.
Nine runs in the opening three innings allowed Division to easily put away Plainedge. An RBI single by Tyler Epple and a two-run single by Austin LaRocca during the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Jesse Natale in the second inning fueled Division's offense early.

James Curti racked up four RBIs on three hits for Division. He singled in the third and fourth innings and doubled in the fifth inning.
Joe Tracey recorded the win for Division. He allowed three runs over four innings. The Division pitcher struck out three, walked five and surrendered five hits.
