Division Dragons Varsity offense too much for Valley Stream North in 16-6 rout

Division Dragons Varsity refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Valley Stream North, recording a 16-6 victory on Tuesday at V.S. North High School. Fourteen runs in the first three innings allowed Division Dragons Varsity to put the game away early. An RBI triple by Joe Piscitelli and a groundout by Mark Martinez during the first inning and an RBI double by Chris Reilly, an RBI double by Justin Wertz, an RBI double by Piscitelli, and an error in the second inning helped Division Dragons Varsity put some runs on the board early. Piscitelli racked up three RBIs on three hits for Division Dragons Varsity. Martinez got the win for Division Dragons Varsity despite allowing five runs over five innings. Martinez struck out five, walked two and gave up 10 hits.
