Better left to the pros. If you don't understand the chemistry behind successful haircoloring, you should not attempt it. Have bright roots and black or dark brown ends? You are probably running the color through the ends of your hair. Every time you do that you are putting more ammonia on your ends and making it more porous so it sucks up the color more and more. Dye will never lighten dye. Call for an appointment to come in for a consultation at Kimera Salon in Jericho on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I will save you $10 on whatever service you book. Ask for Evette and mention Levittown Patch.
