Island Trees Dedicates Ted Petersen Wrestling Room
The room was dedicated in honor of legendary coach Ted Petersen.

Ted Petersen was the greatest coach in the history of Island Trees wrestling. Now, the school has a wrestling room worthy of his legacy.
Youth and varsity wrestlers, as well as school community members, were on hand for the dedication of the Ted Petersen wrestling room Wednesday night. Coach Petersen's widow did the ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
The idea to renovate the wrestling room came out of a school board town hall meeting. Parents raised the money to build the room through fundraisers.
