Levittown Kiwanis Club Elects New Officers

Current President Ann Torcivia will serve another term.

Members of the Levittown Kiwanis Club filed into LaFoccacia Restaurant last week to elect the club's officers for next year.

Immediate Past President Lisa Santer chaired the nominating committee and presented the slate of officers. With no nominations from the floor and all the positions uncontested, current club Secretary Glen Lachow cast one ballot for the entire slate.

Current President Ann Tocivia will be sworn in for another term at the club’s installation this October. Next year’s vice president will be Lachow. Rich Santer will serve as secretary for 2011-12 and Past Lieutenant Governor Kevin Regan will reprise his role as club treasurer.

Although the club has elected its officers for next year, the Levittown Kiwanis Club will remain active throughout the rest of this year. Levittown community members are invited to mark their calendars for two upcoming events: the annual Father’s Day 5k Run/Walk that will start at 7:30 a.m. on June 19 behind the Tri-County Flea Market, and “Papa Fredo’s Taste of Italy Sunday Dinner” that will take place on July 10 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Levittown Hall.
