Levittown Students Send Valentines to Hospitalized Veterans
Northside Elementary School students show some love for wounded vets.

Northside Elementary School students in grades K-5 participated in Nassau County’s Valentines for Veterans program, originally initiated by former Nassau County Executive Thomas Gulotta.
In this school-wide project, students designed decorative cards colored with hearts, flowers, balloons, rainbows and creative drawings. The youngsters included kind words and poems of pride, support, thanks and remembrances for hospitalized servicemen and women throughout the county.
