After being swamped with TV commercials about how great the steaks are at Walmart, my spouse and I decided to put it through a test. We bought steak from Walmart, Stop & Shop, and BJs. Our findings were as follows: BJs came in first place...juicy, tender, flavorful Stop & Shop in second place...flavorful, tender too much fat Walmart made last place... too chewy, not much flavor, way too much fat. Best to cut pieces for use in a stew.
