Police: Group Attempted to Rob Pizza Delivery Man in Copiague

A group of men, one armed with gun, attempted to a rob a pizza delivery man in Copiague early Saturday, police said.

The incident occurred on Daly Place, near Copiague High School, police said.

Police said a Dominos delivery man was approached by four men at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday night. The delivery man became involved in a ”physical altercation” with one of the men, police said.

The delivery man was able to flee the scene without giving up any proceeds, police said.

No injuries were rerported. No arrests have been made.

Last month, four men robbed a pizza delivery man in North Amityville.
