
A 50-year-old Westhampton woman has been identified as the person who was fatally struck and pinned under a vehicle in Center Moriches on Saturday, police said.
Jennifer T. Feuerman is believed to have been run over and killed by her own car after getting out of the vehicle while it was still running and in gear in Center Moriches on Saturday, police said.
According to police, Feuerman was found lying on the ground in front of a Bowditch Lane home at 7:12 p.m. Saturday.

Detectives believe that she had exited her 2012 Mercedes while it was still running and in gear, police said.
The car backed over her and pinned her under the driver’s side door, police said. Feuerman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
