Local Lindy resident blows the roof off almost any joint you put her in, as front woman for Sweet Suzi and Sugafixx.

And The Stone Turtle in Island Park, where she and her band played recently was no different.

Suzi and her guitarist John Puglisi, the two gave the audience members a rocking night of blues no one is soon to forget.

And although the blues has often been thought of as a mostly male dominated arena, showed she definitely could keep up with the best of them. She adds a “sweet side” to the local New York blues scene with her outlook on life, which is to stay positive.
