Video: Lindenhurst 9/11 Canine Memorial Statue Rededicated

Newly restored bronze version of vandalized canine memorial statue is rededicated on the 10th anniversary in garden commemorating Lindenhurst residents lost on 9/11.

Lindenhurst residents, officials, firefighters and politicians joined together on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 to honor the memory of the eight residents - Joseph Angelini, Jr., Joseph Angelini, Sr., Susan M. Clyne, Tara Moore Debek, Geoffrey E. Guja, Gary H. Lee, Catherine Lisa LoGuidice and Laurence Nedell - who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center.

They gathered in Village Square Park at to walk in a silent procession to the Lindenhurst Remembers Memorial Garden.

As part of the ceremony on Sunday, the was also rededicated, at the request of the families and members of the Lindenhurst Remembers 9/11 Committee.
